Globalized Economy and Intercultural Education
Instructor: Panagiotis Kalogerakis
The growing need for effectiveness, efficiency, and performance—driven by comparison and competition—has turned education into a field of political intervention, shaped by "regulatory tools" and market-oriented mentalities. This political regime of education, both globally and nationally, creates a fluid framework of exclusions and intensifying inequalities, within which intercultural approaches and practices are called upon to promote mutual respect, acceptance of diversity, and inclusion.
