External Advisory Committee

The purpose of the External Advisory Committee (Advisory Board) for the MSc Program is to provide insights and advice to the Program Director and the Coordination Committee for the enhancement of the program in areas such as: curriculum structure, offered courses, and learning outcomes in relation to the professional requirements for graduates' employment, teaching methodologies, unmet market needs not addressed by the current program content, the program’s international standing, its level compared to similar programs abroad, and more.

As part of the ongoing effort to deliver high-quality educational and research work, the MSc Program "Economics of Education and Educational Unit Management" of the Department of Economics has established an External Advisory Committee, consisting of distinguished figures from the academic community. The mission of the External Advisory Committee is to provide advisory and supportive input to the Program Director and the Coordination Committee on topics such as program strategy, their relationship with the labor market in Greece and abroad, etc.

The primary role of the committee is to contribute to shaping and assessing the strategic direction of the MSc Program, offer opinions on the achievement of its learning objectives, ensure full compliance with international quality standards, and systematically update the program to align with evolving global requirements. In carrying out its responsibilities, the committee periodically reviews the progress of the MSc Program and presents its findings to the Program Director and the Coordination Committee.

Committee Structure

The External Advisory Committee consists of three internal members from the MSc Program’s Coordination Committee and six external members from the scientific, professional, and social sectors. The members of the committee are as follows:

  5. Efstratios Andris (High School Principal, 1st General High School of Agia Paraskevi)
  6. Alexandros Georgopoulos (High School Principal, 5th General High School of Chalandri)
  7. Christos Goulas (General Director, INE GSEE)
  8. Paraskevas Lintzeris (Executive Director, IME GSEVEE)
