Candidate Selection Process

Candidates who have submitted all the required documents as stated in the application call are invited to a personal interview before the Selection Committee. The criteria used for candidate selection are as follows:

 

  1. Undergraduate degree grade (up to 40 points)
  2. Foreign language proficiency (up to 5 points)
  3. Relevance of the applicant’s undergraduate degree to the MSc program (up to 5 points)
  4. Possession of a second degree (undergraduate or graduate) (up to 5 points)
  5. Type and extent of professional and/or research experience (up to 15 points)
  6. Interview and recommendation letters (up to 30 points)

 

The Selection Committee ranks candidates based on their total score and submits its final recommendation for selection to the General Assembly of the Department.

Successful candidates must complete their registration at the MSc Secretariat within thirty (30) days from the date of the General Assembly’s decision.
