Student and Alumni Feedback: A Guide for Continuous Improvement of Educational Services
The opinions of students and graduates of the MSc program serve as a guide for the continuous enhancement of the educational services provided.
Having successfully completed our studies in the Master’s Program in Economics of Education & Management of Educational Units (2019-2020) at the University of Piraeus, and currently serving as Principals in Secondary Education institutions of the B' Athens Directorate, we have gained valuable knowledge and skills and have enriched our academic resources with up-to-date references in the highly interesting fields we explored, as clearly outlined in the program’s curriculum.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all faculty members, and especially to the Director of the MSc Program, Professor Michail Chletsos, for his unwavering support, both academically and administratively, which enabled us to successfully and efficiently complete our studies.

An exceptional Master's Program designed for professionals from all disciplines involved in the field of education. Beyond acquiring essential knowledge for understanding the reciprocal relationship between economic development and education, students also develop and refine leadership, communication, and administrative skills, as well as competencies in school environment management, teamwork, and problem-solving. Additionally, the program fosters sensitivity to intercultural education, which is increasingly crucial in today’s world. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, part of the program was conducted remotely. This was a new experience for all participants, as we had to adapt to these circumstances. Nevertheless, through this process, the professionalism of the faculty, students, and administrative staff was evident, ensuring that the objectives and purpose of the program were fully met.I would highly recommend this program without hesitation.

The Master’s Program in "Economics of Education and Management of Educational Units" at the University of Piraeus is designed for educators of all specialties in secondary education as well as primary school teachers. The courses, which we attended exclusively through distance learning due to COVID-19, covered the core contemporary issues in education, providing in-depth, essential, and up-to-date knowledge on various topics related to the administration and financial management of educational institutions. Moreover, the highly qualified faculty consistently supported, encouraged, and nurtured the multiple talents and interests of the participants, fostering both personal and professional development. I consider the benefits gained from completing this program to be highly significant and I strongly recommend enrolling in it.
